Florida Owners, as members of the "Florida Club", have some ability to reserve at any of the Marriott resorts in Florida.

What this means for you if you want to exchange into Florida: Say you wanted to exchange into the Villas at Doral, but could not find an owner there looking to exchange to your resort.  Well, you could look for an owner of  Grande Vista (for example) that is interested in exchanging to your resort. If you find one, perhaps you can arrange an exchange with them, where they reserve at Doral for you instead of at their home resort.

So you can use our search engines to find owners of any of the Florida resorts that are interested in exchanging to your resort and work with them to try to arrange an exchange into the Florida resort of your choosing. This "Florida Club" option does have the limitation that reservations at other than the owner's home resort may not be made earlier than 6 months ahead of time. So -- its not a panacea. But there could be occasions where you might find it useful.
